Catching Up...Slowly but surely

My sister in laws created this darling digital scrapbook kit called Every Day Life.
The idea of it is to take one picture a day and journal about it. This is what I am going to do for my scrapbook this year. I'm only three months behind, but I'm determined to get caught up! Here is the first page I did last night of January 6th - 9th. It's not in order, but I was so proud of it I wanted to post it!

Christmas 2009

We have many traditions when it comes to Christmas. Some of which include making gingerbread houses, Christmas Eve dinner, Christmas Eve Pageant, putting up our Willow Tree nativity scene, opening a gift on Christmas Eve, breakfast at Grandma and Grandpa Frei's house. We are so blessed to have all of our family here in town so we are able to see all of them for the holidays.

Making Christmas Candy

It's been a family tradition to make loads of candy for Christmas to give to friends and family...or just to keep and eat. I made candy with my in laws the first year Garrett and I were married and every year since I have always had to work, but this year I finally was able to do the candy making! It was...interesting to say the least. We had loads of laughs, had to make a couple batches of toffee over and over again and might have had to throw out some as well. It might now have been the most professional looking but it sure tasted good.

Christmas Party at Samurai 21

We forgot to take a picture of all of us at dinner, but here is one of just the girls after we ate at Samurai. We don't get together as often as we should but when we do we have so much fun.
