Weekend Getaway

This weekend we were able to get away from the worries of everyday life and just have FUN! We went up to Park City to stay in this cute little Swiss Village place. It seriously looked like the movies. We went with Garrett's mom and step dad, and his sister, brother in law and our niece and nephew.
We went to Disney on Ice...ok it was actually called PRINCESS on ICE! It was soooo cute! There were little girls all in their princess dresses everywhere! I can't wait to have little girls to take!

We went Ice Skating and had a blast
I freaking rocked that ice! I haven't ice skated since I was like 12 and it was pretty scary at first, but after I got the hang of it, it was a party! hahaha.

Training Continues

So these pictures didn't turn out so well, but here is proof of my adventures on Saturday. I got up bright and early, strapped on my pretty leggins - yes, they are quite bright and beautiful! ;) haha, then I met up with my cute training buddies by 8:00 a.m and we were off for a ride!!! This first picture is at the beginning of the trail, the last one is after we did TEN MILES. Whew! My lady town was sooooo sore!!! But let me just tell you that we have a freaking hardcore trainer!!!! Heidi, the girl in the middle, her
husband is a police officer and not to mention has been in the Military and he's ripped. He biked 60 miles the day before we did this with his friend who is training for an Iron Man. WOW. This was quite an accomplishment. I am so excited to do this! It felt so good to finish this, I can't wait to put it all together and cross that finish line.

DAY ONE......

Whew! Isn't this such a cool picture! Well it's official - today was day one of my "training" or lack there of - to get ready for the triathlon. I went to Sand Hollow to swim because that's where the tri starts so I wanted to get familiar with my territory....so I suit up...walk out there... and the swim team is just working it! They were so graceful! I was like talk about intimidating. So I busted out a few laps and it wasn't pretty. But I will admit that I felt so good about finishing those laps and I know I will be filling it tomorrow. Special thanks to Kim who kicked my butt. We swam for an hour and she would't let me give up.
