Us

I realize I am so far behind in posting that I just need to start fresh with 2012 and go from there. I just wanted to post one last thing from 2011 because I love these pictures. Garrett and I went for a Sunday drive and took our camera and just pulled off to the side of the road when we saw a cool place to take a picure. We took a bunch but these are a few of my fave. (blog template can be found at my sis in laws site signaturescrapbooks.com) Ok - Goodbye 2011. Hello 2012.
Also remember I am going to be going private. I realize it's a hard choice to make because I always hate when I click on a blog and it's private. BUT - I'd like to post more this year and I don't want just whoever to be seeing it. If I go private before you give me your e-mail - message me on facebook.

PRIVATE

I am going to be better this year and pay more attention to my blog. I'd like to turn my blog private. HOW?? I don't know the first thing about it. All I know is people request everyone's e-mails. So please leave your e-mail and if you could tell me how to go private, that would be great!

More to come...

Well I tried to post the October ones in order but even this dang blogger is smarter then me.
At least I posted right (Katie!) November is still to come...

One more Fall 2011

Miracle grow.....or....hair extensions.
A friend of mine was having a fall special on extensions and I decided I wanted in on it.
I wanted to have lucious curls for the cooler months. My hair is naturally curly so to blow dry and straighten it, especially in the summer months is HOT. I need to put a fan in my bathroom to keep me cool. Since the cold months were approaching, I thought I would be good.
Surprisingly enough, this hair is EASIER to do then my own! The hair is straight so it hides my curly hairs and I don't have to fry it so much to get it straight. Garrett didn't quite know what to think.. he is a little freaked out I have someone else's hair mixed with mine. He asked if it was a wig for Halloween and if I was just going to take it off. Sorry dude, these are sewn on!

Continued Fall 2011

The girls at work decided we needed to have a "Girls Night" Halloween party and eat lots of yummy food as well as watch "Hocus Pocus."
Jodi hosted at her beautiful home because Halloween is her all time favorite. Her house was decked out! It's like she invented Halloween.
We decided that since we were going to be watching a movie on the back yard projector that a full out costume would be too much. So we had a mask/hat party. The food was great, the company was great, and I won a prize for my mask!

Fall 2011

The other day my mother in law asked me "Aubs has your blog posting been slacking much?"
Haha. I laughed, the funny thing is I actually take a TON of pictures, I've just been doing the everyday life
where I take a pic and journal about it every single day. After doing that, I'd rather pinterest then blog.
So here is a quick catch up of October, then hopefully I'll get November caught up this afternoon.

Garrett ran the St. George marathon for the second year in a row. His knee had been hurting him so it
was a very emotional finish. His family and I stood at the finish line and cried as he came running in.
They say the marathon is so much more emotional then physical and I believe every bit of that after this
years marathon. He's already talking about next year...

6

It's become an unsaid tradition to make a trip to VEGAS for our anniversary. Our first date was to Vegas, so that's become "our thing."
Every anniversary except one has been spent in Vegas (the one we didn't go there, we were in Lake Powell)
Friday afternoon we headed down. Garrett planned the whole trip. He booked the room, show tickets, he did it all.
We checked into our hotel room, ( I would have preferred to MOVE in) and we were like two red necks that had never been out of a small town. We were in awe at our room. After the initial coolness wore off, we went to hit the strip to do some shopping and get some grub.

Saturday we woke up, went car shopping (I'm still without a car from July) and could find everything we wanted, just didn't want to have to pay for. haha. After that, we headed back to the hotel to hit the pool. Again, we were two red necks as we were surrounded by beautiful people wearing their bikini's and high heels. After catching the last bit of summer sun we went to get ready for the show- La Reve. It was great. I was sad to leave our room to come home.
Happy SIX babe.
