Daddy, I love you

Father's Day was a family packed day. We left Lake Powell early so we could come home and spend the day with our dad's. (Sorry Ken, we forgot to take a pic with you) Can't forget to mention Ken, Garrett's step dad - we love you Ken!
Our dad's (all three of them) are some of the most amazing men we know all in their own way.
I love my mom but I have always been Daddy's Girl. My dad pretty much rocks and I get teary eyed talking about how much I love him.
To our dads, we love you.
And to Garrett, someday you are going to make one heck of a daddy. Can't wait until that day happens for us. I love you.

Summer is HERE!

It isn't officially summer until we have hit POWELL!
Four days in powell for us is heaven. Little tidbits that happened this weekend:
*Climbed the sand hill and realized how out of shape we are
*Witnessed a wedding on the beach
*Tubed till our arms fell off
*Surfed till our legs were numb
*Helped some drunk avoid crashing his boat into the dock
*Ate at Antelope Pointe
*Finally bought Garrett a much over due new hat
*Played the game Ticket to Ride
*Slept on the top of the houseboat - almost killing the neighbors playing techno music all hours of the night

Yea for Lake Powell. We love you, see you soon!

Vegas Baby!!!

What more could I ask for but a weekend away with my girls!?
Bradi had this GENIOUS idea to plan a girls trip with the sister/mother in laws.
8 girls, one big vehicle, eat, shop till you drop, and one dang good show.

Friday we hit the open road for none else then VEGAS! A quick road trip later we had arrived. We hit the strip to eat some grub at PF Changs. After dinner it was off to the room for a night of laughter. We played games till the wee hours of the morning and laughed till we pretty much peed our pants. My sides acutally hurt!

Saturday it was off for a day of SHOPPING. We literally spent the whole day in one mall. Back to the room for a quick freshen up and off to see PHANTOM. It was full on AMAZING. I had to remind myself to breathe after some of the scenes. Their voices we're truly angelic. I would have walked right back in to watch it again.

Sunday we spent SIX hours at the pool. There was a lazy river and we just floated in the tubes around the river until we we're almost fried to a crisp. I think that we we're all pretty much purple by the time we headed to the pool

Great trip girls! Can't wait for the next one!

Good Times

College friends + 7 years later +baby shower = good times
Back in May I went to Provo for one of my best friend Hailey's baby shower. In our glory days back in college Hailey, Sadi and me we're the three Musketeer's. It's so fun to see how we have evolved in the last seven years, yet we are still such great friends. No matter how many miles are between us we are still there for each other. I love you Hailey! Congrats on baby Treyton. I can't wait to meet him.

Happy Mother's Day

Mother's Day 2010 was wonderful. We were able to spend time with both our mama's and they loved their gifts. We gave my mom a necklace that says "Hugs and Circles" on it - because hugs make you smile, and circles are forever. And we gave Garrett's mom a money tree because the girls are going on a trip to Vegas and we wanted her to have some spending $$$. We went to Heritage Park with my mom and had a picnic and played frisbee, football and washers. Then we went to Garrett's moms and had a BBQ and played canasta. It was a great day. We love our moms with our whole hearts and wouldn't be who we are today without them. LOVE YOU!

I'm officially in the APPLE family!

So I came home from work the other day and Garrett said he had a surprise for me....told me to close my eyes... and hold out my hands.... then he placed this heavy wrapped box in my lap. I opened it and tada!!!! It's my new laptop!!! I've been saving for like 6 months to get one but haven't saved enough - so Garr surprised me and went and got one for me! I was sooooo excited! I told him this was way better then going and picking it out myself. I've been on it every waking moment. This this can do anything. I love it! Isn't my hubby a stud. Thanks love!
