Di-Dix-Xi-Xie-GOOOOOOOOO Dixie!

It pretty much goes against every thing I have believed in, but I've done it-----I now bleed DIXIE BLUE!!!!
My sister switched to Dixie at her 9th grade year and this year she is a sophomore and a cute little Rah Rah! We have had so much fun going to every game and watching her cheer. She is so cute and is a "Flyer" too! (The girl on the top when the stunt) I'm so proud of her for the hard work she puts into learning and perfecting her talents. Love you Kenzie!

Here Deer! here Deer!

I told Garrett that I've been itching to camp for the last two years, but we have just been so busy that we've never got around to planning a trip. Well this year for the Deer Hunt - we went all out. Tents and all! We drove past the most beautiful fall colors of changing leaves, and pull up to our camp - BURNT. Yea, this should be fun. At least we have fire wood. too WINDY for a fire. Well no fire, let's cook dinner, where's the griddle for the STEAKS.....weren't you in charge of bringing that? Improvise. Find something left behind from the previous campers out in NATURE. Hot hot fire, lots of oil to disinfect. I am NOT eating those....well I am pretty hungry, dang these are GOOD steaks! Yummy Yummy DUTCH OVEN potatoes.
This is pretty much how the trip went. Fly by the seat of our pants. We did a lot of improvising on this trip. We went on a lot of fun four wheeler rides, saw very little deer, and actually got sun burnt from CAMPING - who woulda thought.
For a funny countdown of the greatest memories from camping go to Lainee's blog.
Thanks Lain - it sure was fun. Until next year!

B-U-N-K-O!!!

This summer I joined a Bunko group with some of the most fun girls ever! We rotate houses every month for who is the host, and everyone wins a prize every time. I love it. We meet once a month and it is just a fun night out. We laugh so hard and it's been great getting to know people I otherwise wouldn't have. This month we met at Emily's parents house and of course dressed up for Halloween. I won last bunko and for the prize every one gets she got us all a cute frame with a picture we took before dinner her mom ran and got developed while we played. Next month I'm hosting....any ideas????

May Tradition Carry On

Swiss Days! A fun tradition that we look forward to every year. I didn't take too many pictures because we were so busy on the go all day long. There is a picture of the float that all the grandkids ride in the parade every year. We won "Best in Show" overall the other floats. It was so cool! Garrett got to drive the truck to pull the float this year, he was really happy about that....

Save A Horse, Ride A Cowboy

Yeehaw! Dixie Roundup Rodeo is always so fun to go to. This year we went Thursday and Friday night. Friday night was "Tough enough to wear Pink" night and they paint almost every thing pink and every one wears pink. I have to say, me and Garr were pretty cute in our pink get up!

So This Is Love

The love of my life and I just celebrated our FOURTH anniversary. Really? Four years! Garrett is truely my best friend. We never argue, we laugh all the time, and we love being together. Since our anniversary was on a Thursday and we had to be to work on Friday, we made a quick trip to Las Vegas for some good food and fun. Our first date was at PF Changs, so we went and ate there, then Garrett surprised me and got us a room at the Worldmark Resort. We went and shopped at the Town Center and then headed back to the hotel to swim in the beautiful pool. We had a wonderful time.

Girls Weekend

What a crazy ride. A few weekends ago I went to SLC with some of the girls I went to high school with. We brought pictures to pass around and tell stories about and laughed so hard. It was one of those experiences like what were you thinking when you got ready that morning, or hey now - that was in STYLE!!!??? Nothing makes you feel old like when you say I've been friends with these people for half my life (since I was 12) It was a great time. Six adults - four babies. Shopping, lots of eating and very little sleep.
