It has become a tradition to go to the Forgotten Carols every year with Garrett's family. Every year the crowd that goes with us grows larger and larger. It started with Garrett's immediate family and now we have a group that takes up pretty much two entire rows.
Our Christmas spirit just isn't quite as strong until we go see the Forgotten Carols. We went on Thursday night and had a wonderful time. The spirit is so strong in there, and when you leave, you have a smile on your face and your heart is filled.
We hope to carry on this tradition for many years to come.
Some of our other Christmas traditions include, making gingerbread houses at Garrett's dad's house, the Christmas Eve Program in Santa Clara, Christmas Eve dinner at my parents house, and we always open one present on Christmas Eve (my dad usually talks us into opening a few!)

Catching Up...
Wow, what's this? A post from Aubrey! GEEZ, it's been a while! So here is a little bit of what we have been up to for the last oh month. I know, I've been terrible and haven't posted -but we aren't up to a whole lot. This is all I've managed to muster up to share with you all.
So we went to a BYU game - Go Cougars!!! My boss has season tickets and he was kind enough to give us tickets to go see them play. It was so beautiful. It was right as the leaves were changing colors, not too cold. It was a little rainy that day but it was so much fun. We bought shirts to match everyone else. If not we would have stuck out like sore thumbs.
My little sister isn't so little anymore. She is exactly one year from the ripe dating age. EEEEK! This makes Garrett and me both very nervous. Garrett didn't have a little sister growing up, so it's funny to see how protective he has become over my little sisters. One year and counting and she's on the dating market. Unless we can build a safe to lock her in....
"Who's your Caddy????" For Halloween, we didn't dress up and go to any parties. No, we were on the golf course! Such is the luxury of living in sunny St. George - Almost November and it was warm outside. I have to say that I make quite the caddy. I drive, keep score, and hand Garrett the right clubs (most the time. Sometimes it's a guess, but he's teaching me) and I also pull the flag thing out so he can putt. It's a lot of fun. I have to say, I just might be the next caddy for Tiger Woods!

Called To Serve..In Relief Society
Well there you have it, the reason why I have not had two seconds to think of blogging. I have been called to be in the relief society!!! No more primary, no no, just good times with the sweet ladies of my ward. yeehaw! I am so excited I can hardly contain myself. (I really really am!) I have spent many nights awake in bed thinking oh please let me be everything the president wants me to be.
So here is the quick post to let you know what we have been doing. Alivia told me I needed to do a new post because it's been a while. I know.
I posted that huge post for our anniversary, and then tried to change my page and it didn't work so I logged off and I have been avoiding sitting in front of the computer in fear of ending up in front of it redoing a page and blog surfing for hours!
Anyway, summer is over, the fall is here. Even though it still feels like summer in the air. October 1 runs around and all the sudden everyone is talking about Christmas. I can't believe it's already here. We have been keeping busy with work and trying to get ready for winter. I bottled fruit, froze fruit, froze corn, and going to try to do a couple more things. And, thoughts or should I say temptations of another triathlon are rolling around too. We will see if I have the nerve to sign up. :)
That's it for now. Just keeping busy and praying for ten minutes to sit down and breathe.
Hope to post more soon.

One....Two...Three......
O-N-E Y-E-A-R
Our first anniversary we decided to go back to where it all started. VEGAS. Our first date was spent in Vegas, we went to dinner at PF Changs. So we went down for the day and walked the strip, watched the pirate show, then came home and ate our frozen cake. YUM.....
T-W-O- Y-E-A-R-S
Our second anniversary was spent at one of our favorite places in the world...you guessed it! LAKE POWELL! Yipee! We were there for our family vacation and it just so happened to fall on our anniversary. Garrett thought he was off the hook for planning something, but I wouldn't let him. We came home and went to dinner and he bought me a beautiful ring, and I got him tickets to see Larry the Cable Guy. Good times!

T-H-R-E-E Y-E-A-R-S!
Oh goodie...this year...we spent....at....SOFTBALL GAMES! (this is my sarcastic face.....)
So our anniversary fell on a Wednesday this year. So NOT fun. Welcome to the wonderful world of being an adult where you have to WORK and have RESPONSIBILITIES.
But we decided that we will not be a couple that let's those kinds of things get in the way of our love. So why not head back down to the place that started it all and go to VEGAS! So we went to Vegas, ate at our fave place PF Changs, and went to the top of the world! Or at least the top of the statousphere (however you spell it) It was so cool! Garrett hates hights so we didn't do any rides. His hands were sweaty just from looking over the edge.
Well there you have it! Three wonderful years of bliss. We have been so very blessed to be able to do many fun and adventurous things in our marrige. No kids yet. People keep asking us when we're going to start a family and we tell them, when we're ready. As for now, we just practice :)

Happy Anniversary....Tribute to...Well, US! :)
I've seen people post on their blogs different things for their anniversaries like wedding pictures and love posts to their hubby, I thought it would be fun to take a trip down memory lane and go through our lives from the beginning.....
D-A-T-I-N-G
....Our first date was December 3rd, 2004....
These are pictures of our first Christmas together, PF Changs in Provo, several times of going to church and firesides together, Hawaii - where we celebrating my 20th birthday, and us just being in love.
E-N-G-A-G-E-D....
Garrett took the plunge and got on one knee to ask me to spend forever with him on May 9th, 2005 on the beach in the moonlight in Cancun, Mexico. When I looked down and saw the ring, I fell to my knees too and couldn't stop smiling. These pictures include our trip in Cancun, the summer in Lake Powell, and my bridal shower. Not too many pics of us while we were engaged, I was too busy planning a wedding!
E-T-E-R-N-I-T-Y
We said one simple word and forever was ours. "YES." At the altar in the St. George Temple surrounded by friends and family. My dress was simple, the day was hot, and I was the happiest girl in the world.

Viva Las Vegas

Remember last year how for WORK the doctor had us play SURVIVOR where we eat BUGS and have to do several mentally and physically challenging activities? This year the girls at work said VETO to Survivor, HELLO Las Vegas! We went to VEGAS on Saturday and shopped till we dropped, literally. The doctor rented a 15 passenger VAN for us to go down in. Can you say HELLO BUS! haha. We went to the outlets and SHOPPED all morning and had lunch, then off to Fashion Show for more SHOPPING. Then we went to the Forum Shops and ate at the fabulous CHEESECAKE Factory. We had so much FUN. Thanks ladies for the good times. Love you all.
